DURING YOUR VISIT
Vaccination required. In accordance with New York City requirements, as of December 14, 2021, El Museo del Barrio will enforce new COVID-19 vaccination requirements for admission to the Museum. Visitors 5 -11 years of age must demonstrate proof of receiving at least one (1) dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Visitors 12 years of age and older must demonstrate proof of receiving full vaccination against COVID-19.
Face coverings are required. All visitors over the age of two are required to wear a face covering upon entry and throughout your visit.
Maintain physical distancing. Visitors should stay at least six feet (about two arms’ length) from others and groups.
Please follow directions from El Museo staff. Visitor capacity is controlled and reduced in Museum galleries.

Located at in New York City’s historic neighborhood of El Barrio (East Harlem), El Museo del Barrio is easily accessible by bicycle, car, and public transportation.
El Museo’s main entrance is fully accessible via wheelchair via a ramp located located on the right-side of the stairs on 5th Avenue.
