All Hands In!
6:00pm – 8:30pm | Courtyard
Together, we make up the past, present, and future of our neighborhood. When we place all of our hands together we can see that we are all unique individually, but together we make up a vibrant diverse community. Using the figure of your hand as inspiration, create a collage that tells us what you think is important, then add it to the hands of those joining us on that night to create a collaborative community installation piece!
7:00pm – 7:25pm | El Café
Disrupting the mundane while creating a peerless experience through his mesmerizing movements and gestures, artist Jonathan González will present a flavorful performance that will leave you gagging.
Short Films by Ladin Awad+ Mekdela Maskal + Adam Rhodes

We will see Mekdel Maskal’s Ethiopian and Ladin Awad’s Sudanese identities juxtaposed against their diasporic upbringings. Following this Adam R. will be showing some of his enigmatic films. A plethora of thought provoking content through evocative imagery and film.
