Sábado Familiar: Parranda! Featuring BombaYo

Join El Museo as we kick off the Three Kings Day celebrations with a fun-filled day of family programming! We will be joined by music group BombaYo, who will lead us in the Puerto Rican holiday caroling tradition of parrandas. Beginning at El Museo, you will learn about the origins of parrandas, and the plena rhythm that guides it’s storytelling tradition. Shortly after, we will welcome everyone to join us as we take the celebration onto the street and into the community! All ages welcome! Dress appropriately for an outdoor experience.
