Hola! El Museo is excited to present Coquí Club, an interactive bilingual program for our tiniest visitors facilitated by our museum educators featuring storytelling, discussion and an art making workshop.
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPI)! This Coqui Club we will honor the influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans across cultures. We will read A Boy Named Isamu, by James Yang and learn about the artist’s amazing imagination and how he used it to create big, beautiful sculptures. Get ready to use your hands to create your own sculptures. Put on your Coqui crowns and get ready to have fun! Recommended for children ages 3-5.
