Join Coquí Club, our bilingual program specially designed for El Museo del Barrio’s youngest visitors! Led by our museum educators, this interactive experience includes storytelling, gallery exploration, and a hands-on art-making activity. Don’t forget to wear your Coquí crowns and get ready for a morning full of creativity and fun!
We’re excited to launch our fall season of Coquí Club with a celebration of friendship and community! Inspired by our exhibition Jangueando: Recent Acquisitions, 2021–2025, we’ll explore the ways we connect with friends and enjoy our favorite neighborhood spots.
We’ll begin with story time featuring My Friendsby Taro Gomi, followed by a visit to the gallery to see vibrant artworks that capture the spirit of everyday life and togetherness. Then, we’ll create a collaborative mural showing where we love to janguear, to hang out and have fun with our friends.
