You’re invited to Nuestra Mesa (Our Table), an outdoor evening at El Museo del Barrio, in celebration of Latinx art, hosted by La Trienal artists Lucia Hierro and Carlos Martiel.
The evening will begin with cocktails and a private viewing of ESTAMOS BIEN – LA TRIENAL 20/21, followed by a dinner in the Museum’s courtyard by Chef Breanne Delgado. Guests will also have early access to purchasing limited edition prints by the artists Lucia Hierro and Carlos Martiel. All proceeds will benefit El Museo del Barrio.
ABOUT CHEF BREANNE DELGADO
Activist and Chef, Breanne (Butler) Delgado was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and attended culinary school during high school, graduating at just 20 years old. She moved to New York City in 2011 and began working at the Michelin-starred Rouge Tomate, becoming their Pastry Sous Chef 18 months later. She then became the Executive Pastry Chef at Facebook NY, becoming widely known in the company for her innovative and unique desserts. She started her own business, “by Breanne” before halting orders to create the Women’s March on Washington. She led the field operations for the 670 marches around the world and mobilized over 5 million women on every single continent, resulting in her being recognized as resulting in her being recognized as Glamour Woman of the Year, “International Woman of the Year” by Harper’s Bazaar and named one of the Frederick Douglass 200.
NUESTRA MESA COVID REQUIREMENTS
To attend this event, El Museo is asking guests to provide a self-assessment declaration form, which will be sent to you closer to the time of the event to registered participants. In addition, all attendees will need to present proof of full vaccination (14 days or more), or a letter from a certified provider of a negative PCR or NAAT test result obtained (within 72 hours) or Rapid Antigen (within 24 hours).
