The Afro Latin Jazz Alliance and El Museo del Barrio invites you to join with us for a Holiday Season Concert celebrating the Chico O’Farrill Centennial. The concert features Arturo O’Farrill & the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra with guest artists including: Big Chief Donald Harrison, Adam O’Farrill, and Zack O’Farrill.
The evening will showcase beloved Chico O’Farrill compositions, including the rarely-performed “Oro, Incienso y Mirra” (Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh), as well as the “Afro Cuban Jazz Suite” – featuring Big Chief Donald Harrison on the saxophone. Other works include “Variations On A Well-Known Theme”, “The Aztec Suite”, and select arrangements. Join us!
