Created as a dynamic public space specifically for El Museo's Contemporánea gallery, Cinema Kinesis (titled after the Greek word for "motion") explores the perception of space and the changing nature of shapes. In her installation, Chilindrón wonders if space is "a reflection of the perception of oneself? Or an understanding of what is around one, the way forms and shapes relate to one another, how everything connects? To see the beginning, the end, and the middle all at once...these are some of the concerns that shape my work."
