Keep Rising To The Top (KR3T’S) is not only about movement… it IS a movement that uses dance to positively influence urban youth. Founded by community activist and trained choreographer, Violeta Galagarza, 25 years ago in East Harlem, KR3T’s has provided a life changing alternative for thousands of inner-city children. From modern dance to  hip-hop, jazz, salsa and merengue KR3T’S helps improve the quality of life of its students and its community.

KR3T’S mission is to provide dance training for children and young adults of lower and middle income families across the Tri-State. The group provides bi-weekly dance classes, private instruction and workshops to help build self-esteem, leadership, discipline, professionalism, and team work in a year-round curriculum.  KR3T’S is a non-profit program focused on keeping disadvantaged teens off the streets and away from the negative pressures they face in their communities.
