Join us for Super Holiday activities including crown-making, a lively parranda sing-along, Kwaanza dance workshops, and a concert by the inspiring NJ/NY El Sistema music group. ¡Celebre las fiestas con El Museo! Disfruta este día especial de fiesta compartiendo inolvidables tradiciones Latinas, incluyendo la fabricación de coronas, una parranda musical, una cabina fotográfica de los Tres Reyes, un taller de danza Kwaanza, y un concierto especial por NJ/NY El Sistema.

CARIBBEAN: CROSSROADS OF THE WORLD
and VOCES Y VISIONES: GRAN CARIBE

Travel the Caribbean through our latest exhibition, Caribbean: Crossroads, and explore the rich and diverse cultural history of the region and its diaspora. Also, make sure to visit Voces y Visiones: Gran Caribe, an exhibition of art from the Caribbean that investigates race and ethnicity, language and dialogue, affinities and differences throughout this part of the world. Viaja por el Caribe a través de nuestra última exposición, Caribe: Encrucijadas, y explora la rica y diversa historia cultural de la región y su diáspora. Además, no olvides visitar Voces y Visiones: Gran Caribe, una exposición de arte del Caribe que investiga la raza y la etnicidad, el idioma y el diálogo, afinidades y diferencias en toda esta parte del mundo.

Come join the trulla, a fun musical gathering for all ages! Sing along to popular parranda hits from Latin America such as Mi Burrito Sabanero, Alegre Vengo, Saludos Saludos, Los Reyes de Oriente and many more. Bring your panderas and maracas and sing-along to your favorite holiday songs! ¡Ven y unete a la trulla, una divertida reunion musical para todas las edades! Canta a coro las canciones mas pegadas, incluyendo Mi Burrito Sabanero, Alegre Vengo, Saludos Saludos, Los Reyes de Oriente y muchos más. ¡Instrumentos de percusión y cantantes adicionales son bienvenidos!

Meet this year's Reyes, Madrinas and Padrinos - the influential individuals who are honored each year in our Three Kings Day parade!. Ven y conoce quienes son los Reyes, Madrinas y Padrinos honrados en el 36 Desfile de los Tres Reyes.

Dance Workshop
KWANZAA DANCE WITH FORCES OF NATURE DANCE COMPANY
2:00pm and 3:00pm, Blackbox Theater, 3rd floor
Grab your dancing shoes and learn some new moves in our Kwanzaa dance workshop! Forces of Nature Dance Theater Company will teach the seven principles of Kwanzaa (the Nguzo Saba) through beautiful traditional West African dances. In partnership with the Museum for African Art. Ven y celebra Kwanzaa y aprende sobre sus siete principios a traves de la bella danza Africana Occidental. En asociación con el Museo para Arte Africano.

Ring in the holidays with NJ/NY El Sistema, an award-winning program that transforms young people's lives through music. Come listen to NJ/NY El Sistema's orchestras and choirs, and share in the holiday spirit with your family and friends! Suena las campanas y dale la bienvenida a la temporada de fiesta con NJ/NY El Sistema, un programa premiado que transforma las vidas de los jóvenes a través de la música. Ven con tu familia y amistades a compartir el espiritu de las fiestas!
