Karla Lara, one of the most famous Honduran activists and musicians, combines a majestic voice with a leadership role in the fight for human rights, justice, and democracy in her homeland. This past April, she performed her songs, ranging from social messages to reflections on life and love, at the first ever Amnesty International Human Rights Art Festival in Washington, DC.
