El Museo’s Education and Public Programs Department is dedicated to providing its diverse community with quality bilingual education programs. Through guided tours, hands-on workshops, school partnerships, family programs, cultural festivals, and adult public programs, El Museo reaches out to include people of all ages, particularly our community’s youth. While offering an important resource for the Latino and Latin American communities in New York City and the tri-state area, El Museo’s programs are carefully designed to be accessible to all audiences. Using the Museum’s collection and exhibitions as a foundation for teaching and learning, El Museo’s education programs offer visitors multiple entry points through which to explore works of art in-depth and in personally meaningful ways.
