Our favorite time of the year is upon us! Enjoy live camels, colorful puppets, parrandas, music and dancing on this magical day. In honor of the 40th anniversary, we celebrate the parade’s long trajectory history and roots by honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to the Latino community. The parade route begins on 106th Street and Lexington Avenue and ends on 115th Street and Park Avenue. Immediately after the parade, join us at El Museo for some live music, and free admission to Las Galerías.

¡Nuestra época preferida del año está a punto de llegar! Disfruten camellos reales, marionetas coloridas, parrandas, música y baile en este día mágico. En honor a los 40 años del desfile, celebramos la larga historia que ha tenido y sus raíces en El Barrio, como también en la ciudad de Nueva York. Honraremos a individuos que han hecho contribuciones significativas para la comunidad latina. La ruta del desfile comienza en la calle 106 con la avenida Lexington y termina en la calle 115 con la avenida Park. Inmediatamente después del desfile, acompáñenos en El Museo para música en vivo y entrada liberada a Las Galerías.

12:00pm–1:00pm, La Marqueta
Celebrate the end of the parade with traditional Puerto Rican music and food. Sponsored by Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, La Marqueta Retoña, Acacia Network, and the New York City Economic Development Corporation.

VOLUNTEER
More than 5,000 people participate in our Three Kings Day Parade each year! Our volunteers accompany school groups along the route, distribute crowns to parade participants during the parade, and engage with children, families, and our general audience throughout the parade route. PLAN A GUIDED VISIT

Come celebrate Three Kings Day with El Museo! Together, we will learn about the traditions of this celebration that include Taíno and Caribbean influences as well as the unique way the holiday has been shaped by the identity of el Barrio and its community. During this interactive program, we will explore the stories, music, and art of the holiday, in addition to our engaging 14 foot puppets. Recommended for grades PreK-5, and aligns with New York State Common Core Standards. Visit are available December 5, 2016 to January 27, 2017.
